The South African Nobel Prize winner in Literature, Nadine Gordimer once said, “a desert is a place without expectation.”
Before spending a few days hiking the Grand Canyon, and select trails around Phoenix and Sedona Arizona I had thought that I would see nothing but cacti and sand… well I was wrong. Never would I have thought that their was so much beauty in the badlands of Arizona. Gigantic red rocks towered above each and every location. Forests were filled with evergreen trees, cacti, wildflowers, and steams lined valleys of unsettled land. Animals of all classes and species frolicked amongst us, as if they have never seen a human being before. Below I have included 28 photos and 1 video from my trip to Arizona.
And, if hiking isn’t your thing… I just have one thing to say… “Everything is legal in Arizona.” Make the Sedona Gun Club a destination on your trip. There you can choose from over 30 fully automatic guns to shoot from.
