Locally Brewed by Anna Blessing captures the recent movement of craft brewing in the midwest over the past 20 years. Beer in the past few years has become less of a “low-class” style, and more of a popular style of drinking. Craft beer has become popular because of this movement, as the same style of care for making wine goes into craft beer. The book looks into the stories as well as the processes of 20 local brewing companies in the midwest. Everything from the label art to the amount of hops put in a brewers IPA is explored through this books photography and inspiring stories. As a midwest run web magazine, this book is definitely something we would love to further explore as this really does hit home for us. Check it out for yourself on amazon now for only $18.
