Jay-Z and Cohiba have partnered together to produce a new luxury cigar, The Cohiba Comador. Jay-Z, a cigar aficionado, played a major roll in the production of the cigar. “I worked with Cohiba because I knew they’d take my vision of a luxury cigar and bring it to life the right way” Jay-Z announced in a press conference. “We took our time working on this, to get the blend to exactly where I wanted it to be. Comador looks and tastes the way I think a cigar should.”
Grown in Connecticut and handcrafted in the Dominican Republic, The Comador uses Connecticut Havanna tobacco, which is arguably the most rare and expensive tobacco in in the world.
The cured Connecticut Havanna tobacco is then transported to the Dominican Republic where it is aged for four years, and a final year in Dominican rum barrels. After the Cigar has been rolled, it is set in room for another six months which is constructed of cedar wood, leaving no taste bud dissatisfied.
