If you think you know the craft beer scene well, I assure you after listening to at least one of Michael Kiser’s Good Beer Hunting podcasts, you will be amazed by what you don’t know. And even more so by what Mr. Kiser knows. Michael Kiser is the founder of Good Beer Hunting, and if you have the slightest interest in the craft beer scene, then this “blog” is something you definitely need to follow. I call it a blog loosely though. This is a full fledged operation that Mr. Kiser runs. From the numerous amount of long reads that you can dive into, always wanting to read the next intriguing story, or his numerous amount of podcasts that range from talking to Gary Fish, the owner of Deschutes Brewery, or his time in the Czech Republic visiting various breweries. Michael Kiser wasn’t always a beer man, he studied at The School of Arts Institute of Chicago, and now is a strategist/consultant for brewery operations, a well diversified man from any viewpoint. Whatever aspect it is that you enjoy in the craft beer scene, whether it is beer tasting, homebrewing, the business of a regional or nano brewery, or the hunt for the best beer you can get your hands on, this website needs to be flagged for your enjoyment and education in the craft beer scene.
