The Blairgowrie House by Wolveridge Architects offers stunning seaside views off the south beach on Port Phillip Bay in Australia. The timber- clad beach house is elevated on one end to compensate for the slope it rests on creating a unique patio area. On the high side of the hill, geometric patterned screens create a courtyard that opens up to one of the four living areas. The home was designed to mirror the natural surroundings with the timber slats and the open spaces welcoming sunlight and the fresh sea breeze into the home. The interior features exposed wooden walls and timber-panelled floors with an open floor plan blending the kitchen with the upstairs living areas. View more below.
