The Benchmade Bushcrafter may be the best knife I own. The knife 9.2” knife weighs only 7.72oz. Measuring at 4.43” the blade is a good size for everyday carry and use. The Bushcrafter’s S30V stainless steel was designed solely to be used in knives. It is a powder-made steel that when used in a blade, which offers excellent corrosion resistance and superb edge qualities. Down the road if you’re ever dissatisfied with a Benchmade’s edge, send it back to the factory and they’ll resharpen it to factory standards for just the small price of shipping and handling. What like most about this knife are its handles. A beautiful green, with red trim brings the knife together. They feel as good as they look, thanks to the G10 handles. G10 handles are a laminate made from layers of fiberglass cloth soaked in resin and then compressed and baked in a mole. This makes the very hard, lightweight, and strong. The knife is held in a brushed full-grain buckskin leather sheath. The Benchmade Bushcrafter is available on their website for $215.
