The 2015 Audi TT was released earlier this week at The Geneva Auto Show. While it is not much different than the previous TT’s on the outside, The internals and interior is what this updated Audi is all about. Here’s all you need to know about the upcoming TT.
Under the Hood.
There are going to be 3 powertrains available. The base model is a 2.0 liters TDI (Turbo diesel), that will put out 184 horsepower, 280 pound-feet of torque, and an incredible 56 miles per gallon. Front wheel drive.
The second of the three models is a 2.0 liter TSI (gasoline) that throws down 230 horsepower and 272 lb-ft of torque on an AWD platform. The bigger, and better, brother of the gasoline engines boasts 310 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque to keep that all wheel drive hard at work.
With and All-Wheel Drive drivetrain, and the option of a manual 6-speed or a dual clutch transmission, you can definitely give some mustangs a run for their money.
The interior of the 2015 TT has been completely redone, incorporating a new virtual cockpit that Audi plans to release in all of their new and upcoming models. Also, with LTE connectivity, Audi is really bringing their game this year with interior upgrades.
